I'm proud to present to you The NKRYPTION Code Video from AMF.

My Take on the Ball:

This is the strongest AMF ball ever put in my hands...this thing is like a supercharged Night Hawk on steroids...strong smooth controlable

Much stronger than the original Code in my eyes, in the 900 global family it fits right inbetween the Break S75 and Original Break as far as total hook goes, but this thing is ALOT smoother than any of the breaks...great ball from AMF, very versatile from any angle on the lane.

Make sure you have enough volume up front or this thing will want to hook way too early...this ball will tell you when it needs to be put away

The main difference that seperates both Codes' is that the Original Code starts up sooner than the new one. For people that have a higher rev rate, they are going to find this much cleaner through the heads with a great backend motion. These people are going to find, IMO, this a much better match up than the Break S75 on a THS.

The Code I have is drilled differently (yet pin is above ~ see picture in link) and I also have it at 2000 abralon, high polished and it turns the corner much stronger (http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z163/fbm357/51608090.jpg) Nonetheless, the NKryption looks very interesting.

Britton, in your opinion, the NKryption handle more oil than the original Code?

Post by: Moe on June 23, 2008, 12:22:06 PM: The new code looks stronger on the back, and more continuous. I like the way it rolls in the video, very strong, not jumpy, smooth roll. Reminds me of the night hawk pear video but with more overall hook.

Is the new code a solid and not a solid/pearl hybrid like the orig?

Yes i think it does...much better actually

The original code got squirty for me unless the backends were clean...any type of carrydown and it straightened up on me...on a clean fresh pattern the Code is one of the best balls out there...

This new code handles oil better in all parts of the lane...the thing finishes consistently no matter what the condition is...i tell people its "boring" to throw compared to other balls on the market cause its so consistent , it just works, PERIOD!

I was watching the Night Hawk Pearl video before this and I thought about how the read down lane is pretty similar, but the new Code is obviously stronger. As for how it rolls compared to the Breaks, I figured it would actually go right under the Break. If I'm incorrect, either memory serves me wrong about how it rolled, or the videos are kind of misleading.

Can anyone compare the Code to the Heist for me? Even watching the Videos I can't figure out where the Heist stands for sure. They say the Heist is a good benchmark ball but it seems a bit strong. In the video the Code plays deeper than the Heist and I can't figure out why. It seems that the Heist is stronger, at least in oil.
