A green Mamba, Cobra special edition, and the Bull Whip special edition.
The green Mamba appears to be using the asymmetrical SRC technology. it is F74 and finished with a T pad with a low RG.
The Cobra SE has the light bulb core with a F74 cover @ 4k abralon. Low flaring with a strong cover. Should b interesting.
The Bull Whip SE. No info other than they put a F73 polished pearl coverstock. I can only assume it will be pretty angular.
-
Very interesting pieces indeed!
-
Any idea on release date?
-
Yes! SRC is FTW!
Light build, or light bulb?
-
I've not heard of when the release dates are for these. Doom- you kill me! I've corrected the 'bulb' and proof read more and made another correction. Lol.
-
Dude, I was just wondering if Nick S made some new breakthrough in weightblock technology! CLARIFYING!!!
:)
P.S. Can't wait for the new stuff to be shown to us. I heart 900/AMF
-
Doom-
You are so right about Nick with creating new technology. I haven't seen any of the cores but i am certainly looking forward to seeing the one on the green mamba.
-
July 3rd is release date for all new products....They all roll completely different and unique from one another. Working on videos now....will have some ready soon. All 3 pieces are special but just wait till you see the all new Cobra ball motion.
-
Eric,
I see the 900 website has been updated. Any idea when the AMF website will be updated with pics and numbers?
-
Working on it...hopefully soon.
-
Love the idea of the cobra.... I think it will be a great "ths" ball.....
May have to change my entire lineup now to accomidate new pieces....
S^2
-
Happy to see AMF with 3 new balls. Eric, can you guys update the apparel also. Shirts are kind of outdated....Keith
-
Balls are up on the AMF site. I have seen the new product line in action and must say that they look impressive.
-
Considering most of my awards scores were shot with the original Black Cobra I'm going to have to have one of thhese for sure. I have always had great success with ligh tbulb cored balls so i expect great things out of this one
-
Cant wait for all the new pieces. Bull whip looks good. Color on the Mamba looks awesome. Src is my second favorite core, running a close second behind the break core. Can't wait for the videos.
-
Do they have these balls in that booth as I am in baton rouge as we speak.
-
Sevenpin,
They don't get released until July. You know I can't wait! I think that green Mamba would look sweet in your hands. The cobra too. From the looks of it, the bull whip is gonna be pretty strong off the spot.

Something looks --- unusual -- with the core differential numbers for the Cobra SE.

The RG differential for 16 lbs is .017"
While the differential for 13 - 15 lb. balls is .045".
Coverstock: F74 Wt RG Diff
Color: Black 16 2.550 0.017
Finish: 4,000 Abralon 15 2.570 0.045
Core Type: Symmetric 14 2.582 0.045
Sku# 1793-02 13 2.600 0.045
Available Wts: 12-16 lb. 12 2.621 0.044
ADDENDUM (6/11/12): I just saw this on another web site for the differential of the Cobra SE. I think it is the true differential for 14 - 16 lb. weights:
RG: 16#-2.550, 15#-2.563, 14#-2.584
RG: Diff 16#-0.017, 15#-0.017, 14#-0.015

My guess is that someone missed the 4 on the number pad, and hit the 1. I already have a layout in mind for that cobra!

Glad I'm not the only one who saw that. Just came to post about it, but see Jeff beat me to it (as usual).

Umm, Green Mamba is at an E pad, not a T pad. So, it's a Bank Roll with a slightly weaker cover.
-
Green Mamba Video is up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KviRTUtp5K0
I like the look of this ball reaction. Great video.
-
Yeah. Green Mamba is going in my bag. Reminds me of my Nitro/R ... colorwise. Love the src.
-
Green Mamba is finished with a T pad. Cobra diff is .017
-
Nice video. IMHO, having Nick and Eric demonstrate this ball is good for the company. Also nice to see the other folks in there too. Definitely showed the versatility with the different styles. I loved my Bank and the Green Mamba looks like it will compliment it very well.
-
This has to be one of the better comparison videos out, showing multiple styles. I found it interesting that AMF is now using the SRC that first came out in the 900Global Bank/Bank Pearl/Bank Roll balls. In either case, AMF seems to be making some good pieces as of late.
-
Don't discount the Clutch, Grip, Clutch Pearl! Or the Shredit!

Luckylefty
PS OMG pearl!
-
I have the double clutch pearl and 2 shred it's. The shred it's for me is very versatile with the hybrid coverstock. The double clutch pearl is a good med-dry ball. When i have to shell down from my break out or the original break, the double clutch comes in very handy.
-
Another ball i would love to see out of AMF is another hybrid symmetrical core ball. Somewhere in the f65 range with a 'A' finish. I wouldn't mind another Cobra coming out with this cover. A light bulb core? Hmm.....
-
Enough already! The other videos now! Can't wait to see the other AMF pieces, along with the look.
Btw... what does the Bull Whip weightblock look like to you?
To me.. reminds me of a Track Freakazoid! Yes please!
Also... Britton, where's the videos??? :)
-
Track Fanatic I think the Shred it was that Hybrid!

Luckylefty
-
Lefty- I already have 2 of those in the bag! :)
