Anyone know anything about this ball?  Has PRO XS III Acryllium on it?

Never heard of it and it's not on 123bowl.com Also, acryillium was an Ebonite cover so that doesn't make sense.

Actually it does make sense ebonite was making the coverstocks for AMF back then. If you look at the serial number on the XS's and the Pro XS's those are definitely ebonite covers. Very cool ball I think it was just a prototype try that never made it on the market. The acyrillium is not a big surprise since that was also used on some of the omega's!!!!

I knew Ebonite made AMF's back then.  I thought it might be an overseas ball, or something!

I guess it is possible but bowlingballreviews.com dont show it for anything, and they have just about all discontinued and overseas balls that were released. The guy just listed 2 together for one buy it now price. I wouldnt mind trying I had 2 of the Pro XS I and I had great success with them.

I just looked at it over on eBay. From the graphics package, it looks either like an overseas ball, or something like the Storm Dark Thunder, which was essentially a vendor special-order product.

It would be nice to have, but did you notice the prices? I assume he's selling all three at the same time; otherwise, $49 for shipping is a little outrageous for domestic prices. The ad isn't very clear.

Jess

p.s.: Still bowling with a white XS from time to time.

True, and he's selling quite a few as "bought on ebay but decided not to use" for a reason for selling?  What? Can't find the Pro XS III Acryllium on the USBC site as allowed either.  So anyone buying it will have to just practice with it, can't use it in competition!
