Ninja
« on: October 15, 2006, 02:47:21 PM »
I just found what I think is the orginal ninja (black with splashes of either blue or purple).  I am just wondering what type of reaction I should expect out of this.  The ball looks like the polish was removed and the pin looks to be 2 inches.  How would this ball compair to my black ice (drilled straight up, pin under and a blazing inferno drilled ring finger through pin).  Would this fit in between the two, be stronger, equal or weaker than my current equipment,

Thanks

If the engraving was orange then it probably is an original ninja...ah the good ol days.  I would suspect that in today's game it would be a medium-dry condition ball.  It had a sharp back end to it polished and carried very nicely.  I think the original black ninja's had some core sep issues, so you might want to check that but I would bet if you are using an ice you will like the Ninja...

you kow this is really really a bad i mean lousy horrible ball. I would do you a favor and teke it off your hands before you see what it can do, uh uh uh I mean before you waste your time on it. Its a long and strong ball . Send it up the boards and it turns the corner like a boomerang. I have been trying to find one myself. I really loved mine someone liberated ot from me.

I have a #15 in my closet which I don't use anymore, but 2 yrs ago it was all day on medium oil. I would just follow the oil...wish I could find one #14 in good shape...damn I miss this ball....9
