Test Drive the "NEW" AMF High Performance Ball
« on: January 27, 2012, 07:34:37 AM »
1) Taking Pre-Sales for it.

2) Ball is not up for discussion at this point on the forum and...

3) Must be there at 900 Global Showcase in San Antonio this Saturday for specs and on-lane demo with lead ball designer Nick Seifers.

Fierce. That color combo is wicked. Reminds me of the Apex Intensity. I'm going to message my pusher and have him hook me up.

Not nearly as long as the OMG Pearl...Fits in between the OMG and OMG Pearl.....if you liked the Shred IT you will really love this ball.  If you missed out on the Shred It you need to pick one of these up....the Shred It was one of the best balls we have produced in my opinion....got overlooked

Eric,

I have a Bank that works well on the medium heavy stuff, and a Train waiting to be drilled up. I would imagine that the ball motion will be totally different, with the Train being earlier and smoother, and the Mamba being more angular. True?

Everyone sees ball motion differently.  In testing with both balls drilled identical the Train started a little earlier than the Mamba, but the Train also had slightly more pop or grab when it created friction off the spot. The Mamba was slightly longer, and slightly more rounded....

Eric is right, but I believe that the coloration of the ball is going to differ the argument as well. All things considered, some might see a difference from others dependent on which ball has more purple and/or yellow than another in relation to the labels. Really smooth ball that is suitable for all bowler types.
