Pretty ball with an excellent reaction...

I have 2 one pin down @ 2000 and one pin up OOB

The pin down @ 2000 can handle a good amount of volume...has incredible continuation and power....best AMF ball i have thrown to date!

I'd ask Eric to be sure, but I believe sometime in March. Not 100% sure, however.

We are pushing orders now, PBA approval on Monday, USBC approval to follow, once that happens shipping will turn loose.  So expected in shop date will be right around the 3/3 timeline.

Eric,

I am sure this has been discussed somewhere, but what condition will the code be mainly for? Thanks!

Medium to heavy oil.  Ball looks great on a sport shot, helps blend the pattern.  I believe BAR's video was done on shark?

yes part of my video will be on the shark pattern...read the lane real nice on the shark pattern even OOB it has a pretty quick response to friction

So all things considered, this ball would be more aggressive than the Nighthawk pearl?

Yep! In terms of how the Code will fit in with the rest of the AMF and 900G gear, what I've gathered is (in order of oil handling, most to least):

AMF Radar Alert
900G Break
AMF Code
900G Break Pearl / AMF Radar Lock
AMF Hei$t / AMF Nighthawk Solid
AMF Nighthawk Pearl / 900G Creature Solid
AMF Orbit Extreme Solid / 900G Creature Pearl
AMF Orbit Extreme Pearl
AMF Angle Reactive
AMF Angle Urethane

Compared to the Break Pearl, I'd anticipate the Code being slightly earlier with a more arcing (but still strong) backend reaction. The Break Pearl will push further down the lane, and then most likely cover the same boards...you'll just maybe need to know where the dry boards are, etc., so as to take full advantage of the uber-strong backend.

The only thing i disagree with on that list (for me anyway) is where the Hei$t is...i think it can handle a good amount of volume, more so than the break pearl and radar lock...other than that its a good list rev!

My videos (AMF Code, 900 global Break Pearl, 900 Global Creature Pearl) should be ready for monday @ the latest...maybe sooner!

Everybody has slightly different opinions, of course. OOB, the Hei$t just went far too long...and even after I knocked the polish off, it still gets good length before making its "benchmark" move.

With a stronger drill than I have on mine, I could also see the Hei$t move up a notch.

So I could either go with the Code or the Break Pearl to start on a fresh condition and then go to a creature pearl as the breakdown starts?

Its a possibility, BUT the creature pearl is a little oil sensitive to oil downlane OOB...so if they are just getting toasty i would say yes that would be a good choice...if you see carrydown i would take a second break pearl and just take it to 2000 or 1000

See everyone is different the Code is beast with me throwing it, stronger than the Break Pearl close to the Break in hooking power. It outhooked my complete NV by about 3-4 boards and the backend was much stronger, impressive ball again by the fellas.

If i was not such a ball whore i would only throw 900global plant made products, including the Lane 1 gear. The Heist is long smooth and powerful, the break is ball of the year and the new code is Absolute Inferno with much stronger backend.

I would suggest looking at anything coming out of this plant, no matter what the brand name is on it

How do you have your Code drilled, Barry? I've yet to drill mine, so I'd like to get some opinions...

Pin over ring which is right at 4 3/4 pin to pap, cg stacked below 3 inches no weight hole. For me the factory polished ball is super angular and the flip reminds me of much stronger Titan pearl.

At 2k this ball will probably be able to be wheeled pretty good, if it does not lose it backend motion.

Actually pretty close to what I was thinking of doing, but I may kick the cg out a bit so I can put a hole down...

what about putting a label drill on the code?  pin up and right of ring, cg in palm.  I had a Triumph AMP that was great w/this drilling, since I'm more rev dominant w/avg speed (15-16)?

My guess is that it'd work fine...but it's hard to tell given the unknown pin-pap distance. Normally, a label drill for me gives a slightly smoother motion, and can almost back-off too much downlane (the more I move in). It's worked on some balls, but not all...

Sorry I can't help you more. The Code, regardless, is a great ball!

I'd have to Agree with MrNut, my Code is stronger than my BP, drilled very similar, clean up front and a monster backend, Code first, then BP from my stand point.
