LOL Bill, ain't that the truth. I think they did it on purpose though. No teaser pics or anything would enrage him even more...

It's a hybrid ball. It would have replaced my Shred-It. However, that ship has flown. My hybrid Motiv Revolt Vengeance has been an excellent bowling ball.

Plus, it will probably be another 5 months before AMF puts out another bowling ball and that is no way to build an arsenal. AMF is 900 Global's filler product line. I needed more than that. AMF's rich history deserves more than that.

>> Wait, it's got the Network core???

So, in other words, it's a FILLER product for the 900 Global line. It doesn't use a core specifically designed for AMF. What's the point? If 900 Global doesn't want the AMF brand, sell the license to someone else.

The AMF line has been the filler line for 900Global recently. Unreal core is a SRC core used in all the Banks, the Xcites use the old Hook core i believe. The Boosts use the Wisdom core. So what you are saying now is when you loved AMF before you left you had no idea they re-used old 900 Global cores?? Im confused.

Dude cores cost a lot money to make.  Figs told me at track it was 70k for a new core design.  If people aren't buying AMF like they used to, why would they pour R&D into them?

I think it's going to be a good piece!

I tend bow dory said escape. "S-kap-ay..." Haha

billdozer is right too much money to create a new core, 900 is just trying to keep AMF as relevant as possible.

Besides no one else is knocking down their door to take AMF away, requires to much work and investment to bring back to elite level.

Trying to say this as polite as possible...

Get the stick out of your bum.

It's the same with Roto and storm. They don't usually switch recent cores...maybe old ones, I remember the frantic core being used a long time ago but fliped upside down for Roto 5 years prior.

Roto and storm share covers... Brunswick and dv8 do too.

Their trying to stay in business!

I'm just going to throw this out there.

If you've never thrown a ball with the CFT core, you're missing out. In fact, I would trade one of my nib goodies to find a Protocol NIB.

Im stuck on the SRC core still. Never thrown a CFT core before.

This version is VERY midlane due to the intermediate diff, and it seems to transition harder off the spot. SRC rolls smoother for me.

Yeah SRC is really SMOOOTH, loved the Banks. Can't wait to see how the Escape is with the CRT.

Wow! The AMF Escape definitely makes a pronounced move to the pocket in this video:

Idk the backend isn't that crazy..it looks like a hyroad type..equal parts midlane and backend.

If u wanna see backend.

Virtual gravity bowlingball.com Brian halstroms portion.  That's backend!

I had a chance to demo this ball about a week ago. It rolls VERY nice, and even though it was a tad bit aggressive for the conditions (let alone also having a fairly aggressive layout on the demo ball), it still faced the pocket the right way and threw pins around. I was VERY impressed!!
FWIW, it also looks pretty nice on a shelf.

This core is so good. No lie.
