Title: Another Stupid Comparison...
Post by: BrunsJim on February 27, 2005, 10:13:43 PM
I have a fire quantum currently drilled pin right of ring. I also have a Titan on the way here. What should I expect to be different from this ball?

Polished pearl Super-Flex in that core (Titan) will tend, in the vaguest general terms, to be more skid/flip than the Fire Quantum's PK 18 pearl cover with the mushroom core. Both should cover similar amounts of oil.

Differences in pin, CG, and other factors may provide bigger or smaller perceived differences.

Hitting power of both is excellent WHEN USED ON THE APPROPRIATE OIL PATTERNS ADN WHEN DRILLED APPROPRIATELY FOR YOUR RELEASE!!!

Side Note:
For many people the out-of-box condition of pearlized Super-Flex is so skid/flippy that many people, myself included, will sand it to 600 grit and then re-polish with a light to medium coat of a polish of our own choosing, before ever using it.
