Title: Black Mamba Video
Post by: iamone78 on February 11, 2012, 03:55:18 PM
Not sure if anyone saw this. I came across the Videoballreviews sport shot video for the Black Mamba. Looks like its been up for 3 days now. I apologize in advance if I had stolen Videoballreviews thunder on introducing the video. Has a great comparison with the OMG solid and OMG pearl. Hopefully a THS version is made as well in the near future. Overall looks like a great ball from AMF.

Good video as always by Brit.  Can't wait to get one in my hand.

You don't have to worry about that these are two completely different motions.

I wonder why he hasn't put out a house shot video for the Mamba... or posted himself about it.

hmmm, the balls seem weaker on the house shot than the 39' Seoul pattern sport shot.  Seems like there was way more skid on the 42' house shot, along with more oil outside on the house shot.   There was alot of bounce on the outside with the sport shot.  Wonder if they got the two mixed up?  Anyways, if not, I wish I had a 42' house shot like that around here.  The only time I see some oil is in tournaments.

Thanks for posting these, i have been busy so i haven't had a chance to get them up here.  Gunny - The house shot DID play slicker than the sport shot.  It was longer and had  more volume than the seoul pattern.  I had a great look with the mamba i just had to square my feet up a play a tighter line.  Not the most impressive line for those who like the see the ball go coast to coast but i didnt miss the pocket with this thing because the smooth motion kept it in play when i missed a little right or left.  It did pretty well in the oil and was very smooth overall.  Tj was absolutely crushing the rack with his.  He was able to go a little more left to right because of his higher rev-rate, but this is still a GREAT control piece.  I will get these up in another thread as well as the black eagle videos for all to see.
