Well, she was good well she lasted.... Under 50 games, have a 800 with it. But now she is dead. Found out that the cover might have been oil soaked. So gave it a hot water bath.... took the surface down to 1000.... Had a buddy with the same problem, and this is what they told him to do. Worked on his, didn't work on mine. Last Global poured ball I buy.

Talk to Eric Thomas first. Maybe you got one in a batch tyat was a bad pour. Coverstock issues were onr of the things i wondered about with this ball,due to the low diff.

I've never had nearly as much success with a hot water bath as i have with a revivor. I would recommend taking the surface all the way down and bring it back up and putting it in a revivor. That cover is so thin im not surprised it would need an oil extraction....

Ya i did not want to be the first to say it but my driller called me into his back room to show me just how thin that cover is. Now dont get me wrong i love that ball it has become my go to ball for tough shots.

Yeah the only other ball I remember being that thin was the Profit...That one was super thin too. I still think the Cobra is probably the thinnest I've ever seen...

My Creature solid, way back when 900G first started, has a 3/8" "thick" coverstock!! Hasn't cracked yet; still reacts, mostly, but I do change and refresh surfaces regularly.

I haven't measured the thickness in all my 900 Global or AMF equipment but looking at the weight holes, they are about 3/8 thickness.

Well i guess i can add my rip mine literally just cracked sitting on my rack in my living room wall I was watching TV I heard it pop wtf.

I've had multiple balls between 900 Global and AMF crack while sitting in a controlled environment as well as rotating them to make sure this doesn't happen. Even though I have been told by someone there that shell thickness does not matter. As much as I want to believe it and tried to believe it, I'm not buying that anymore. I've never had another companies equipment do that other than Track when they were out of the same plant.

I will not buy another global produced ball ever again. Customer service is non existent, they just insist it that it comes down to lack of care for the ball.

Wow, My only problem with AMF stuff has been in the cracking. (I have heard on here it is the San Antonio plant). My stuff is left in a non temperature controlled environment.
As to reaction. All my AMF stuff is still very powerful! Years after buying.
