Another 300/800 with the Night Hawk Solid

Shot 255-300-278 = 833 last night. Simply the best ball I've ever thrown.

Nice Shooting BO...does the pearl ever get any lane time?  Or do you stick with just the solid for the most part?

It just matches up with my game well. I'm med speed/high rev player and it just gives me a great read when the lanes transition. That and I don't do well with bright color bowling balls. They look cool going down the lane, but for me they are just to hard to read coming off the spot. If it were up to me every ball would be one solid color...but we all know that doesn't suit well with today's market. The Heists' roll heavier in the front and my Breaks' give me more angle on the backend with the same motion in the front. The Break is by far the best high performance ball I've ever thrown and knew it was going to take off the way it has back when we did the test.

Bo only knows how to throw 2 balls. The Nighthawk solid and the Project X Epoxy ball.  He is the Brian Voss of San Antonio.  Black ball, black grips, blacked out engraving.  I am just waiting for him to shout "ban sanded bowling balls" during league one night.

I really like the Break as well. Have a NIB Heist and NH, just haven't had the chance to drill them yet.

I finally drilled my Nighthawk for a state tourney. Heavier blend in the middle and more friction between 9-4.

I took the surface to 2000 ( Charlest, who bowled the tourney the previous weekend thought OOB would be too strong) and since it was a short pin (1.5) I placed the pin under the ring finger and put the MB at 75 degrees.

Ball was very smooth off the breakpoint and carry was very good. I was able to hold my line for most of the first 6 games with minimal adjustments. Very pleased with the reaction. I felt that if I executed correctly, I never had to second guess the reaction. I bowl on a sloppy mess tonight and I look forward to seeing what it can do on it.

Would love to drill another with the same layout and take it to 4000.

Used the ball last night on a sloppy track and it worked well. Was able to follow the oil line the whole night and used the NH for the entire set. A rare thing in this house. Carry was very good. Plenty of pop at the pindeck.

I am definitely going to pursue drilling another at either 4000 or 2000 polished.
