Haugen on Telecast

Michael Haugen Jr will be in search of his first title tomorrow using AMF products.  Mike has been using a Heist and Nighthawk Pearl all week.  Good luck Mike!

I'd be irritated too if I flatout out bowled someone and lost. I'm happy for Haugen but but Wes threw 20 great today and deserved that win.

Nevermind the times that some straighter guy threw the ball great and got out powered by Big Wes or TJ, who normally have more area due to their revs and rotation.  Nothing more than the classic cranker vs. stroker whining.  Yes, Wes threw it great but I'm sure he's had more than a few rounds where he just overpowered the pins and won against someone else who threw it better but couldn't carry.

I want to congrats to Michael.  I did not see the whole tournament as I was bowling myself.  I did however see Wes play a couple towards that ditch which looked like he lost them and they recovered.  Regardless to who hit the mark the greatest.  If Wes didn't carry and Michael did looks like AMF won all the way around.  Just happy to see someone else on top and a different look company other than Ebonite, Columbia, Storm or Track.

Way to go Michael Jr.!!  He bowled well enough to win and that's all that matters.  Great day for the NEW and improved AMF too!  I watched Michael bowl the Masters and he really looked good throwing the Heist, NP and solid version.  Glad to see him keep grinding and it paid off!

Hey...I think I have seen AMF win in the last two years.

Were they both with Maximum Velocities?

Jason Hurd and Rick Lawrence.

Good ball...

I'm with Shelly on this one. He is "right on" with what he said here.

I'm happy for Michael Haugen, but Wes bowled the better game.

part of the game, sometimes they just don't fall when we think they should. It happens at all levels of the game.

Wes had like one more ball in good pocket than Michael.  But does it matter?  The person who knocks the pins down better bowled the better game, not the person who looked the best doing it.  The name of the game is to knock down pins.  It doesn't matter how they fall.

In the Masters, the high rev rate guy <Sean Rash> won with less than stellar shots.  Steve Jaros hit his line better but didn't carry.

Mike Haugen the down and inner lower rev rate wins this week.  Hmmmmm it's appropriate.

Bowling is not about style so who cares if Wes "bowled" better. The pin count says otherwise.

Classic example of a typical league night is what this sounds like !

The good bowler is crushing the rack and leaving pins and the "lesser" bowler is just carrying everything, no matter what kinda hit it is.

Final thought: Thank God theres no handicap in the PBA !

Interesting, the good bowler is leaving pins and the lesser bowler is just carrying, therefore the lesser better is the better bowler.
