Incinerate Pearl vs. Solar Flare
« on: November 12, 2013, 12:13:55 PM »
Anyone able to give me input on both these balls? What's similar and what's different? I know the difference in core/cover, I'm just looking for some real world input.

I'm looking for a pearl to step down to from my Bounty when the heads start to go. Right now, my step down is a weak layout Crossroad that is smooth and doesn't have enough in the backend. In short, I'm just looking for a step down that will be clean through the heads and have a good amount of recovery on the backend.

For me the Solar Flare gives more length and slightly more recovery. The incinerate pearl ended up being a little smoother for me due to the stronger cover. You might want to consider the Vixen too. The Vixen gives me even more in the back on a medium volume THS.....

Thanks tdub

That's what I was expecting, except most people(ads) tout the Incinerate Pearl for big backend. I like the Eagle Pearl, but I feel like the Solar Flare will fill my gap and not give me very much overlap

Usually for me I start with the eagle pearl and once its time to make a move I can switch over to the solar flare and keep striking. The Vixen probably let's me get the deepest of all the new stuff.

I'll see the 900 global west rep tomorrow night at league, I'll ask him what he thinks
