Help with TNT Drilling
« on: November 15, 2004, 07:14:45 AM »
got a new tnt I am going to get drilled up.

was looking for advice for how best to drill it.  I am slow speed medium revs, semi roller, with a fairly low track, though not nearly a spinner.

On the ths conditions I am looking for a ball that I can play in the heavy oil.  I need it to get through heads easily then read the midlane with a controlled hard arc.  Obvioulsy with the tnt flip is out of the question.

I have had luck with balls drilled pin under bridge and cg kicked out but I feel the tnt might be too strong and early for that.  Would a simple lable drill give me this?  any advice would be greatly appreciated.

the ball is a 3 inch pin with 3 oz top wt.

I've got mine drilled with the pin (about a 2" pin) up and just right of the ring finger with the CG towards the center of the grip just a little above and barely right of the center of grip.

She goes smooth through the heaviest of oil then starts arc'ing HARD and drives through the pins!

(I also track low with medium speed and med revs, if you remember)

Hope it helps.
