C'mon Steve where are you? Wouldn't surprise me if it gets removed though from the approved list. Sometimes these show up too early.
-
I heard there was a new cobra coming but i know nothing about it....i like the looks of it.
-
Seen a staffer throw it Sunday in league, looked good in his hands on a dry THS
only info i got from him is its a slightly stronger core then the Cobra and less cover, i believe i seen the F55 label on the ball.....got no exact numbers from him but looks good
-
I was wondering how long it would take someone to see that. Should be sweet!
-
" I know nothing", you know as much as I do. Matter of fact I would not have known at all until I looked at the post.
-
F55. Middle of the road strength wise. I like it. Now I want core shape, numbers, and release date!
-
probably mid to late month.
-
Its up on the site now

I had discussed them doing this with Eric and they delivered. Should be something really close to an IQ Tour Solid. Low RG/ Low Diff s55 cover might be slightly weaker than the R2S but I think this ball will be awesome!! Can't wait to throw this one.
-
I have seen several IQ Tour Pearls but not sure if I've seen the solid IQ in action.
And S-55 will be quite weaker than the R2S is very close to S-70
-
IMO the IQ Tour Solid is the better of the IQ Tours. Super smooth and continuous and is more than enough ball for any THS. And I think the lower RG on the King Cobra might make up most of the difference in the covers. I might be off but I see it being very similar to the IQ Tour solid.....If they had put the s70 cover on this it would have been scary....
-
Wonder how fast the cover will die on this one.
-
The release date for the King Cobra is set for March 4th
There’s a new Cobra in town,
boasting a lower RG and nearly
twice the differential than its
predecessor. The King Cobra
features the traditional lightbulb
core matched with our F55
coverstock to provide a smooth,
continuous motion on medium
lane conditions.
Coverstock: F55
Finish: 4,000 Abralon
Color: Black/Red
-
got mine ordered, should see them any day.
-
Sounds very Creaturey... so f55, maybe. 030 diff and light bulb shape. I would take a guess at the rg, but cant remember it offhand.
Now where is the Ninja Special Editon line!?
-
2.46 - .030

Now where is the Ninja Special Editon line!?
Overseas from what I've seen.
-
Found a video for it out on YouTube. Looks very nice! Similar to Creature Solid and Favorite!

-
Video is up.
-
Can't wait to drill mine.....looks really good
-
Ball looks good, but where was Eric Thomas?
Is he still with them?
-
I don't know all the details but i think he is more part time now...i don't want to start rumors so I want to reiterate that I don't know any details or if that is 100% truth. But i do know he took a step back in some form
-
I was thinking the same thing the last two ball vid's from 900/amf he has not been in what's up.
-
I talked to Eric this week, he needed a break from travel, seminars, and the rigors of the fast paced life of the bowling industry. He has stepped back somewhat but is still involved but not as much as before for the time being, and we will let it go at that, if he feels the need to say something I'm sure he will.
-
okay good I'm glad to hear it he's 1 of the reasons I switched over from ebonite int to 900/amf very good guy ez to talk to and get answers from.
-
has anyone compared the king cobra to the sure thing yet?
thanks :)
-
I got both the sure thing is longer and a quicker transition downlane. I didn't have to change the surface on the sure thing. The KC i had to polish just to clear the heads on the stuff I'm bowling on. The sure thing covers more boards for me but the King Cobra seems to open the lane up better and is smoother.
