Looking for a perticular ball..
« on: April 25, 2004, 09:48:57 PM »
Hello everyone.

Nice board.

I was looking for a replica of the ball that Bill Murray used in Kingpin.  You know the gold colored ball with a Rose on the inside.

I haven't been able to locate anything like it anywhere.

I perferably need it to be 12 pounds.  I wanted to bowl with it for the next couple weeks before our championship game.

If anyone can help please reply.

Thanks!

Not really sure where to find one, but they were made by Gemtec if memory serves.

I don't know about the gold ball with the rose, but there is a clear ball with the rose inside. See the following link.

http://www.discount-proshop.com/lanehawkballpage.htm

http://www.bowlersdiscountsales.com/store/product664.html

A company called Lane Hawk Manufactures several clear balls with objects inside.
There may be another company but I am not sure of the name. Be careful though as these balls may not be approved for use on sanctioned leagues.

If anyone else has info on the above stated regarding approval please give us your input.
