Soup monster
« on: November 11, 2010, 04:12:53 AM »
I have a AMF Mega Recovery laying around. I know it's a VERY oil needy ball. Now that Reno is right around the corner, thinking about punching it up. With the success of my recently RICO'd Pink Panther I'm wondering what this layout would do for the Mega Recovery? I'm a hi rev, 14-16 speed player.
Just curious on the thoughts of this combo..... I'm gonna need something on looooong heavy oil.
Thanks

The Recovery will jerk off the dry pretty hard even though it is an oiler.  I've had three of them each with different layouts for differing needs.  For flat out soup, depending upon your tilt I would recommend 40x4x40 with a p3 hole.  This layout will eat oil for breakfast yet not jerk too hard off the end of the pattern.
