Title: ninja
Post by: toomanytenpins on March 09, 2008, 04:34:28 PM
i finally found one it should be here this week i cant wait. I think now that i know a little more about bowling this ball is going to be a mainstay in my bag for those drier lane conditions. Going to have it drilled pin over bridge for lenght and strong back end which if memory serves was exactly what this ball delivered.

I FINALLY GOT TO THROW IT LAST NIGHT . I had it drilled pin over bridge for lenght and flip on the back . Its got plenty of lenght. I guess it has been about 12 years since i threw mine but i didnt remember it being so weak. Its definitely a going to be my light oil ball .

Yup...what 900G said.  It's tough using some of the older bowling balls in today's environment.  Most of my older stuff only comes out when the lanes are one the drier side or a true spot has developed.  The oils today are thicker and the old coverstocks just don't have the enough grip to handle them in most cases.

it still hits hard though . I really love the way this ball attacks the pocket even though its mostly 10 pins now.It still is fun to watch it with that late break and hard drive to the pocket.

Its kinda spotty for me though its too strong for dry and just a tad to weak for med light. I have it set up with pin over bridge, but its just too iffy for anything other than a good practice ball. My nvs is my med to light ball and i have a pluto for anything under that

If you are refering to the red Ninja Fury, I had one and it was one of the hardest hitting balls I ever had back in it's days.

I'm trying to remember.....didn't the blue Ninja have the same core as the red one except it was turned upside down when compared to the red Ninja?

densities were different. The inner core of the Master was denser and the outer on the Fury was just the opposite.
