I am intrtigued along with the other balls coming out of san antonio. It has the Code core with a flip block I think, Love my Code.

I think it is going to be a pearlized version of the S-75 cover, sounds like fun to me.

Anybody know when it's going to be released?  Same coverstock rating as The Break S-75, so being pearlized, would it be a little longer with a stronger backend?

The S75 is a hybrid. Has quite a bit of pearl. Heard this straight from Eric Thomas.

Sideways is really strong in the back....Couldnt see that response coming could you?  lol
Its a great compliment to Mega as well as the Code core in general....We have used that core to make Code/Nkryption Code both great pieces that were mild and usable on a variety of conditions.  Now we are hitting extremes..Mega Friction for heavy oil and a big hook.  Sideways for medium conditions with tremendous backend.  This ball has a 2.56 rg and .055 diff which is about as high as you will see in the industry right now....The flip block is what got us to the core numbers.  Couple this with the cover on this and presto big backend.

This ball is fun to throw, and fun to watch coming off the spot.

ps. that clutch is going to be ball of the year (mid-price) if we get any respect at all!

Thank you Eric, I mean i knew it was going to be a big backend ball, so I knew that was coming. Just wanted to see where it stacks up with other AMF equipment. Love my Code to death, Sideways will be a Kinetic pearl replacement.

I am assuming this is a pearl? that is something i really wanted to know, along with others I am assuming. Break s-75 cover only pearl was my best guess? Care to enlighten on these questions, and i will leave this ball alone question wise.

Oh and i believe that the clutch is going to be awesome, and will most certainly be in my bag. You have my respect, others that think AMF is lacking need to get there head out of their as$. It is the same as 900 global with a different name and different shape, which makes this company the most condition covering company out there.

No problem, we appreciate everyones support....We are expecting a big year this year.  Terrible 2's!

The Sideways is a Pearl (both colors) no additives.  So compared to the Break S75 you will see more push and more backend but in my opinion less overall hook in oil of course since there is no additive to create that traction.

I've had 4 codes, one double thumb, a 4x4, a 3 3/8, a 5x4, 3 heists, one rico'd, a 4x4, now a double thumb, and a NIB.  I have owned an n-code, a bounty, I currently throw a Maniac, so you get the point, this equipment is extremely underrated.  I will eventually be throwing the Sideways.  Every ball in the line is priced right, and surface friendly.   Does anyone have a 15 Code NIB?

A half ten is not a great shot.  No, you shouldn't have carried it.

Thanks for all the info!  Hey Eric, what is the release dates for the Sideways and the Clutch?  Is the Clutch a bit similar to the Lunatic or the Maniac?  The Sideways WILL be my first AMF ball, but I do have a lot of 900Globals with my favorite ball still being the Break Pearl.  I have a number of different  ballls from Roto-Grip, Hammer, and Lane #1 as well, but my favorite is 900G.  Keep up the good work!!  :-)

I've always been one to go a bit against the grade. Since nobody here was throwing any AMF stuff, I tried one, the VILLAIN.

It was such a good choice for mediums that I went with AMF again for my drier shot ball, an Orbit Extreme.

Both have been more than I could've asked for, and do exactly what Eric told me they would. The hit, carry, and consistency of these two have been really good.

Now, I wait in anticipation of The CLUTCH. Wanted something to go ABOVE the Villain without spending a ton of cash and, right on cue, AMF delivered.

IF they can overcome the years of poor performance and bad reputation of AMF, they really have some good pieces. DO NOT be afraid to try them.

P.S. I also must say that Eric has PERSONALLY taken the time to answer questions I have pm'd and e-mailed him about AMF stuff. Good customer service and responses. What else could you ask for?

Release Dates for all AMF products (except Hype -Sept) will be July 20th...

Clutch has very similar #'s to that of the Lunatic but reactions are different.  The finishes are different, lane play is different and there is just something about that core in the Clutch.  I never threw the Threshold but now i know what all the fuss was about.
