Is there anything in the AMF lineup that compares to the Terminal Velocity particle?
My old reliable just cracked. Thanks
-
Doom would know.
Anything strong and symmetrical should do the trick...
I have to assume #'s wise...The AMF Darkness is the closest, however the cover is probably way stronger. You could probably get by with something lower end and save some dough...but the darkness looks very good!

Agreed. The Darkness is going to be your best fit with current releases. Even though it isn't particle, the Darkness is will still give you a similar reaction. Smooth, and controlled. Very easy to make adjustments based on its predictable ball motion.

Thanks guys I'll check it out. I don't think the darkness will ignore the oil as much as a Terminal Velocity with its urethane like roll when the oil starts to go away. Thanks again.

+1 on the Darkness. I went 45*4.5*65 with a low hole, and while its strong, I can not get it to jump. Roll, roll, roll. Its a special ball.
My solid Hook sanded is very smooth too. That is also a consideration.

Another consideration would be a King Cobra, but that is lower diff. Stronger than advertised. Rumor has it that the Incinerate had a particle load in it, but that is for SOUP.
Threw my Grip it last night, and it was early and smooth, but I also laid it out with a 2 inch pin to pap.

Doom, great suggestions. If you can find a King Cobra (still some floating on ebay) it is a great option. Maybe it was just me, but the King Cobra seemed to have way more flare than .029 diff. Just as good is the Grip/It (also on ebay). Grip/It laid out the same as the King Cobra (60*x5"x45*) seemed to have a smaller track flare; very similar to the Favorite and Creature Solid IMO. It definitely rolled a bit earlier than the King Cobra due to its cover strength, but a touch of polish helped push it longer. All three suggested (Darkness, Grip/It, & King Cobra) are at 4K, so if you want an earlier read take the surface down. That should get you really close to a particle type reaction. I love all three of these at the OOB 4K surface though. So predictable and versatile. Options are there, just up to you on which one you want to pull the trigger on. Glad I kept a King Cobra stashed away for a rainy day!

Can't wait to throw my king cobra. Its waiting at my shop with my desert hook.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I might try and find an Incinerate. I already have a King Cobra that I use on the house shot. Thanks again

You'd have better luck with a Darkness, IMO.
