doesn't matter used or new and 15 or 16 lbs

I have used, single drill, 16 lb one with roughly 3" pin-cg, with pin just right of ring finger, cg stacked below, small weight hole about 5" from grip line. ball has a little bit of extra polish, but very few scratches.
