Triumph and Triumph AMP
« on: May 08, 2004, 11:49:08 AM »
Drilled both of these 3 weeks ago and all I can say is wow. My first set with AMP 300-279-223 for an 802, The next week I threw the Triumph and shoot 750 and this past thursday threw both and shot 299-257-269 for an 825. Was wondering if anybody else has had any luck with there new stuff. Keep up the good work AMF-COLUMBIA.

I bought a USED TRIUMPH from a BR member about 2 months ago. I've been raving about it ever since. Some have told me that the ball will last only 60 games .. they maybe right .. but in the mean time THIS BALL IS FANTASTIC! I have a USED TNT on the way as we speak .. I can tell you about it but you won't believe it till you try it yourself!

But the Triumph, isn't that ball a Pearl? will probably last a quite awhile for you or at least I hope. I will get one when the price is right. thanks for sharing your comments on it. Harry

The Triumph is a particle pearl; from what I have noticed, I tend to  think of it as a combination of an Inferno and a Triple-X Factor. It appears to be in that general range of performance.

I also drilled up the TnT this past thursday and shot 778, 223-287-268 in leauge. Averaging a little more than 260 for the past month with these 3 balls. Not trying to toot my own horn but these balls match up well with my game. If you get a chance I would recomend trying any of the TRIUMPH line.

Man
I would love to bowl on your shot.
I have just bought 5 Triumphs and can't wait to drill them this week.
1-TNT
2 AMP's
2 Green and Blues
If you knock down 10 pins always smile,no matter how they fell. An X on the 1st ball is 1 step closer to 300.

i have drilled 2 of the AMP's and 1 Triumph and the balls are awesome.
1st AMP
0   0
   X-pin

      x-cg   x-wt hole

  0
The ball rolls very even and does not skip flip and it great for my game.
2nd AMP came with a 6" pin and so I decided to do a type of rev leverage, because the pin was so far.The pin to my fingers is about 4"s.The drilling was shifted about 45% off the label, but you can't show that on here, lol!
This ball rolled very well and has a strong arc on the backend. And it hits like a Mack Truck. Maybe too hard as I left a few 8-pins with it in my roll off's this past week.
        x-pin

      0    0

        x-cg

        0
These balls are awesome and i would buy them again !!!

And though this isn't new and has a different core than all the Triumph's.

Everyone in our area LOVES the Victory SPT!!  Beautiful and seemingly very durable coverstock.  I designed one for a guy around here and he won't put it down in about 3 leagues a week.  No 800s but a ton of 790s!
