Have any of you thrown both of these enough to give a comparison? I have a Sorcerer, but have been looking at the Urethane Hype to replace it. Being its ten years newer technology, I would assume the Hype would be a bit stronger.

The Hype is reported to use the same urethane shell that was used on the BUD II. I wouldn't really consider that newer technology.

If that is the case for those that want to shine it the old Luster Kings did a great job on the BudII

J_Mac, this is true, but in this case the core makes the difference, the Hype urethane will hook with most mid performance balls, the difference being there is no over reaction to the dry like with a reactive resin ball !!!
