Anyone know what ball Voss was using today? Couldn't see any markings on the sides or top. It had a Black Nighthawk looking pin and some type of label in the palm of the grip.
Ball rolled like the old Black Nighthawk or a Menace - on the flippy side.
It looked pretty decent whatever it was!!

Before his first match today, Voss thanked AMF for making him some balls to his liking. Based on this, I would guess that whatever he was using may not be available for public use. Whatever it was, it is not anything in their current line.
-
It would have to be something on the approved list. Looked like an Angle Evolution Extra Tour 1 (the pulse remake) to me. Either the Logo was blacked out or just not engraved.
-
Didn't Voss say something about AMF300? Since he made a point to use the new name, I would assume it was the Triumph TNT. I can't image why he blacked out the label. Almost makes you wonder if he was using an older ball.

He was using a TnT, he also uses a black magic marker on the engravings on his bowling balls. He does not like to see it twirl or roll down the lane.
-
I thought I was the only one left who did that. I magic-marker out pretty much all of my stuff. Us rev-challenged guys like to hid the fact that we're not spinning at 500 rpm.
-
It did have a label,if you slow down the tape and look at the close ups you can see TnT, and he has been blacking out the label for years. When is the last time you ever seen any of his logo's on his balls rolling down the lane. Several of the guys on tour black out the label for your info.
-
How can you say it's illegal to black out the logo's of a ball but not illegal to throw a ball with no label. Makes no sense.

anyway to black out the logo by myself ?
-
I began blacking out logos right about the time the Nighthawk came out and I am still doing so. In fact, I have become so bad I can't throw certain balls if the colors are too 'wild'. I know that sounds crazy but I know for a fact I can read the ball reaction more accurately when I can't see the logos and inserts.
If you give it a try you will notice a difference!

Justin, I think you're mistaken, because Voss has done that on numerous occasions when on TV, ...last time I saw it, it was with a V2.
