Title: Will they ever bring back the Angle Evolution
Post by: hd12b on August 22, 2018, 10:42:24 PM
Amf keeps bring back older models. Will we ever see the Evolution series again?  It is the only series of bowling balls that I have bowled by honor scores with.  Any feedback from anyone?

Not with the same core. The evolution core was the night hawk core, and they can't make that exact core anymore. Night Hawk SE was close, and if you can find a Stealth, it's a strong ball as well.

I think AMF is doing a good job of bringing back some of the oldies with updated coverstocks. I just bought the Sumo and haven't drilled it up yet as well as the Stealth and I am really loving that ball. I just wish I could find another 14lb King Cobra again...or even the new Corba SE. Had an 854 series with the King Cobra. My style and speed seems to match up well with AMF stuff.

Loved the Evolution series. Two 300' s with the Evolution, one 300 with the Evolution Tour and a 796 also with the Tour.  Also had good luck with Amf equipment.

Don't hold your breath. 900 Global has released 3 AMF balls in the last 2 years according to the USBC approved ball list. At this pace, you might see it in 2030.
