Night Hawk
« on: November 24, 2006, 09:58:23 AM »
I hear AMF is remaking the Night Hawk. I'm new to the Night Hawk, so can anyone tell me more about the ball. What lane conditions was it created for? Is it a high performance, mid performance, or entry performance ball? What would it be compared to with other balls say from Columbia, Storm, Hammer, etc...

The nighthawk covers medium to medium oil very well in its OOB surface, the surface has been tweaked by using stronger resins to combat todays oil durability wise but its reaction is dead on with the old one

It will retail in the mid performace category BUT it certanly reacts like a High Performance ball

if i had to pick a ball to compare it to from another company its like a smoother PAIN...the hook potential may be a bit more for the nighthawk but the reaction shapes are similar big arcing motions in the backend

check out my video to see it in action
