Drilled this ball up label with the cg in the middle of the palm and the pin above and to the right of the ring finger. Drilled a weight hole on the positive side which added ½ once of side weight.
On late league conditions playing 15 board the ball went long and made a small move to the pocket. When getting the ball out to the 10 board where the condition was quite a bit drier the ball made a hard move to the pocket. In this condition I bowled a 721, which wasn’t bad for the first time throwing this ball in league. Earlier I practiced in an oilier condition and had games of 244, 237 and 224.
This ball will definitely react to the conditions of the lane, I found that it will go long in oil and it will react hard when hitting the dry area.
On a blocked house shot, I’ve thrown the ball in league three times (oil pattern 10-10 with oil approximately 35 ft) my scores were 721-738 and 771.
This ball is a strike monster with good skid and a hard push to the pocket.

I drilled this ball for our pro shop staff member Sean Sanchoini. Sean is a high revs, high speed, cranker.
I laid this ball out with a 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 layout, and sent him out to the lanes. He practiced after the first shift was over, and compared it to his Inferno.
The Action Carbide made a move about 5 feet sooner on the lane, and with a strong sweeping arc to the pocket. One thing that jumped out at us, was the pin action of this ball. It was different from other balls. I have noticed this with all four AZO balls that we have tested.
When we tested this ball on a variety of lane conditions, the ball cleared the heads very well, and made a predictable sweeping action to the pocket around 40-45feet.
AZO is a small company, owned by Lane Master. This small company will soon be a huge factor in the bowling ball market.
Thank you Johnie Jones and AZO for letting us review this ball.
