I laided this ballout with the same drilling as my other AZO balls, with a little twist. The pin was a little longer so I put it over my ring finger with the CG kicked out about 1 1/4" from the grip line.

I threw this ball next to the Red Fire and the Fanasty X Super Carbon, and this ball when just as long as the Red Fire, but gave me more snap to the pocket. Compared to the Red Fire, the Fanasty X Pearl gave me 2-4 boards more, depending on the lane condition. The Super Carbon read the lane a couple feet earlier and gave a smoother transition.

I tested this ball on a Medium-Heavy oil sport shot, and the ball was a little over/under with this layout.

I think this will be a great ball for those bowlers that are looking to try AZO, and like Skid/Flip type reactions.

This was a 14 lb ball with a 3 inch pin and 3.5 ounces of starting top weight. I had it drilled with the pin an inch right of the ring finger (righty) and the cg just a tad right of grip center.
The ball has above average length and a wicked backend. The ball should have its picture in the dictionary next to skid/flip!
I initially tried the ball in a synthetic house with an easy christmas tree pattern. The angle of entry was so high that it was tough to keep the ball in the pocket and follow the transition. Carry was awesome and the ball was fun to watch but it was very unforgiving on a forgiving pattern.
I talked to several members of this site (thank you all!), my driller, and the east coast azo rep(thanx!). I didn't want to alter the surface because I liked the length the ball gave me, so I had a small deep weight hole put on PAP. (I asked for a wide and shallow weighthole but this worked so why complain?) The Fantasy X reactive was smoother now. Still skid flip but much easier to read. I was still getting a bit of over under so I started fooling with my target. I usually look to my breakpoint about 2/3 of the way down the lane at around 8 board. I just moved the target to about the half way point of the lane at the 8 board.
Different ball! It was no longer touchy. It still got great length but now gave me some miss room both left and right. If I threw even a half way decent shot the ball squared up and destroyed the pocket! I was fighting the balls natural length. This ball will get down the lane without you having to force it. I'm so used to a ball hooking too early that I created over under by sending the ball out too far.
I really like this ball now. It hooks a bit less than most strong balls on the market. It hits well when you nail down the proper breakpoint. It will ping tens if you send it out too far down the lane, but on a properly lined up ball it has the best carry % of any ball I've rolled.
This ball isn't for everyone, but if you're looking for length and a big turn with HIT and you know how to get lined up, this ball is excellent on most house shots.

I ordered this ball to play in dry lanes... I drilled it with the pin between the 2 fingers and I left the CG in the center of my grip. When I first used it, it didn't hook! My spare ball was hooking more than that! I passed a white pad on it and it begun to hook a little bit. What I love about this ball is that I can play between the gutter and the first arrow almost every where I go. It gives me a great advantage because nobody play this line! When the lanes are very dry and nobody can pass the heads, I take out this ball and I play way right of everybody else!
