Core and coverstock are designed to read the midlane with skid and hook to the pocket.

drilled this ball with the same layout as the Fanasty X. I put the pin above the fingers and the CG and 1" off of my gripline. This ball needed no weight hole.
I have thrown the Fanasty X Pearl and the Tactics Reactive on the same condition each time I have used the balls. The Tactics is about 2-4boards less then the Fanasty X Pearl. The breakpoint on the Tactics is smoother and less violent then the Fanasty X Pearl. The Tactics has the same length as the Fanasty X Pearl but a difference in the breakpoint.
This ball displays the same great hitting power as all other AZO balls.
I was able to move over and go up the boards without a problem, just making a hand adjustment.

I picked this ball up on closeout from Buddiesproshop.com . It's a 14 lb ball with a 3 inch pin and 2.75 ounces of starting topweight. Cg is near span center and the pin is just a hair right of and below the ring finger. This is about a 5.5x6 for me. I've tried the ball in a wood house that hooks a lot and some synthetics that play pretty slick. Both lanes have a basic house shot. This ball matches my game very well. The cover is a weak reactive and the core supplies some flare. I find the overall hook to be around the same as my Sonic X. It is also very easy to control. Easy length and arc on the backend. The difference between this ball and the Sonic is the flare potential. This ball flares a good 6 inches and the Sonic only flares about 3 inches. What does this matter? Well when the Sonic is wrapping ten pins this ball is kicking them out. Superior carry. I used to think the Sonic was a great carrying ball, but the Tactics reactive is even better.
Overall, the Tactics Reactive is a great ball when you are seeking length with arc and an overall small amout of hook. The only reactive ball I have that covers less boards than this is the Barbed wire. A shame these are discontinued as I really like this ball. The same great carry I had with my Fantasy X reactive but it's much easier to keep in the pocket.

Drilled 4x3 with pin under fingers and cg below midline
and still went ahead and put the weighthole on my axis.
Everyone that has seen this ugly pink/gray thing go down the
lane is in awe of what this ball can do.
I can play it straight down the lane when everything has disappeared
or I can open up the lane by ripping it up.
Only thing that I wasn't impressed was that it can burn up on
parched lane conditions (a wooden house notorious for not oiling
the lanes during the daytime) and just flat roll out.
Very sensitive to carry down and dry lanes. But get it on the right
lane conditions and you can use this thing most of day until you
basically run out of room.
