I need to get a #3 slide and while looking for one saw that a #2 slide sole is out I would think that it is for more slide but don't want to send in 15.00 until I am sure?

I believe that is the felt sole and yes it slides more than the chrome leather one which is #3.

The felt slide is #2 and it does slide more than the chrome. I got a #2 a few weeks ago.

If you're careful when cutting the piece of felt, you can get two sole from the one piece.
