Title: 345 option?
Post by: wireman on July 02, 2010, 05:51:40 AM
Any opinions on the Big B 3,4,5 option bags? Thinking of getting one before end of summer looking for pros and cons.

Had one, wouldn't buy another. Weak zippers and when rolling, the thing isn't very stable. For the number of balls it will hold, it's big and has an odd shape which makes it harder to put in your car with other bags. Just my opinions from having one.

Save yourself the headaches and get the Storm 6-ball roller. You can use it as a 4-ball by removing the center section when you don't need the extra capacity. It can be seperated into three sections, so it allows you to move it around with less effort. It's just a better product than the 345.

I've had mine for a few years now.  Works good but rarely use it as a 5-ball bag.  I'm not sure if I'll buy another (strap is almost broke from pets chewing) but I would never buy another 4-ball roller that wasn't in line.  I had one of those Storm 4-ball rollers that was 2x2, never again.

With the 4th ball on the top it weakens the zippers every time it flops over.

Have a friend that has gone thru 2 of them and the zippers just dont hold up

I had a standard 3-ball bag and it was unstable.  Too narrow.  I can't imagine putting more balls on top, raising the center of gravity, and making it worse.

I have a standard 2x2 4-ball bag and I love it.

I currently have the Lane 1 version of this bag but I always use it as a 3 ball bag. If I need to take 4 balls I take my old AMF single bag. IfI need to take 5 I will use a double tote bag.

I use the extra space to store my extra accessories.

agree.. zippers weak.. already had one on the pouches break.. good thing is that each compartment has two zippers.. so now it just zips and unzips one way..

handle also always pulls out when trying to pull up a curb...
I have already sent it back once for them to repair the handle.. got it back and it pretty much does the same thing..

great warranty though.. but you will probably have to use the warranty.. that is the only problem.
