Title: 3G bowling shoes / wide foot
Post by: global900pbaexp on October 24, 2009, 04:07:48 AM
Has anyone bowled with the 3G ultra tour bowling shoe that has a wide foot?  How was the fit?

I don't actually know if I have a wide foot or not.  Probably not.  In any case, the 3G Tour Ultras right out of the box are loose on my feet.  They're not a tight fit at all.  They're very comfortable on my feet.  I paid about $4.00 extra for "fit protection" just in case, but they did fit, so I didn't have to use it.

I wear a 8 1/2 2W and have a GREAT fit in the regular 8 1/2 ABS Dynaroos (ORIGINAL) I would think that the shoes now are using the same pattern!

i have a wide foot------my new balance 622's are size 10 1/2 EEEE. my 3G tour ultra's( size 10 1/2 ) fit great. the tour ultra's have the advantage of being made from kangaroo leather.......unlike the competitions cowhide. kangaroo leather is at least twice as strong as cowhide and is much more supple. this strength and suppleness allow the uppers to more closely mold themselves to the wearers feet.

I've got wide feet (4E) and the standard size 9 in the Tour Ultras fit just fine.  As others have mentioned, the kangaroo leather is more pliable and just seems give enough to provide a good fit.
