Title: 3G Shoe Help!
Post by: FastTracker33 on May 20, 2008, 08:38:37 AM
Hey everyone, I REALLY don't like the soles on my 3G shoes I have. Here they are:
http://www.bowling.com/products/3g-mens-sport-deluxe-black-blue-right-hand.htm

Why I don't like them is because.. I DON'T slide. What soles make you not slide? I'd really love to use these shoes, except, all the soles are too slippery! I'm more of a planter than a slider. I slide maybe an inch to 2 inches at most lol.

Please help?

Thanks!

Try the oiled leather sole.  Your shoes didn't come with them, so you'll have to buy one.  I believe the rippled heel you have is the stopping-est heel they have, but if you haven't tried it, you should.

Thank you very much for the suggestions, guys! One last question, and case closed.. Out of those 2 soles mentioned, do they really give you a complete stop? I'm assuming the #6 sole will give you more of a stop, so would I be better off getting the #5 one? I still do want just that LITTLE bit of slidy-ness. I don't slide at all, but I don't wanna have a sole that makes me go to a dead stop and almost die! Haha. Thanks!

Go to Buddies.com and click on 3G Dynorooz. All the sole and heels are there and the adjust-heel is also listed.

Thanks for the help, guys. I think i'll go ahead and get the oiled leather #5 one.  That should do the trick.
