« on: December 16, 2013, 06:08:06 PM »
Just wanted to share a link for anyone that used to use the original Bowlers Tape that they do not make any more. Check out the link for more info. It is from the inventor of the original Bowlers Tape.

I have never used this tape but have used the Ebonite, Masters and Storm versions of the white tape.  What is the difference with this one or the advantage of it?

None.  Its all personal preference.  Obviously the OP likes the original bowlers tape.  Me, I use whatever is cheapest at the hardware store.
Long Gone also posts the honest truth which is why i respect him. He posts these things knowing some may not like it.

I can't stand the Storm tape. It gets reall greasy and slick really quick. Bowlers Tape, or Brunswick tape i have to replace the top piece after a few weeks, with Storm tape it's every week.

From what I am told this new stuff is just like the original bowlers tape. I posted the link here because a lot of people the last 6 months or so have been having trouble with tape and a lot of people like the original bowlers tape.

Any idea if anyone makes a bowlers tape that's latex free?

I have some coming to try out, will report on how it goes. I'm pretty much out of options, all the bulk rolls of tape i've gotten my hands on in the past year or so have been junk, I miss the "old" white textured tape.

Ebonite's Powerhouse branded new stuff is okay, definitely better than the other stuff as it will stick to what you put it on and the adhesive doesn't ooze into the the other side of the tape making it junk, but it's pretty slick for people that are used to and like white tape.

I'll report back with results of this new bowlers tape, if I like the sample i'll be ordering a 500 roll because I go through a lot of tape.
