I am going shopping for a 3 (maybe 4) ball roller bag for a birthday present. I am curious which sites I should do my shopping on, if anyone can lend any recommendations for price and service. I've seen K&R bags are highly recommended, as are the Storm bags. Any other recommendations feel free to chip in

I bought a 3 ball roller off of Luxorbowling on EBAY. Bag is a BSI. Great product, great seller. Price was cheaper than anywhere else I looked for a 3 ball roller.

If you're as strong as an ox, you can get a 3-ball bag, but if you're not, think about getting a 4-ball roller, which is one 2-ball bag stacked on top of another. When getting stuff in and out of the trunk, it's easier to manage lifting a 2-ball bag twice, rather than 3 balls at once.
I would go for the K&R Lane Rover 4-ball bag. eBay seller ballcellar.com has two for $142, while Buddies has them for $145. I've seen them go for less in auctions, but you'll have to be patient, and wait for one to come along.
Here's the link to eBay:

Hope this helps.
Oh, btw, I'm almost positive that Storm's bags are made by K&R, and the K&R bags are generally a few bucks less than Storm's, so...

Defintely not as strong as an ox. Maybe as dumb as one. Right now I have a 2 ball tote and a single ball tote that the wife has been demanding I return for a few months now.
Thanks for the recommendations, keep em coming! Also thanks for the info on the K&R and Storm bags, I was unaware of that!

Personally, I like the Storm 4 ball Streamline. I have no problems with getting it in and out of the car, also I love the three wheels, very stable. The handle goes way down below the bag, as someone has said is a problem in other bags. It does open from the sides, but I just remember which ball is where and it's not a problem for me, anyway. If you're interested, I sell them for $130.00 plus shipping.
I'm a Storm person, but I liked the features on them over any other brand.

I have the K&R lane rover. It is an excellent bag. The only issue with it, and many others, is the height of the handle when it's DOWN. I drive a tahoe, so it's not a problem, but if you have a smaller car, it could be an issue for you. So before you buy ANY 4 ball roller, check out that piece of the puzzle.
I know that Brunswick bags are made by K & R - but I don't know about storm and columbia.
The storm 4 ball rollers that I've seen have a very annoying (to me) feature. Instead of the bottom opening with a zipper to the front, both sides open. If you constantly have the same thing in the bag, in exactly the same place, I guess it's not too limiting. But if you're like me, and what's in the main bag changes places a lot, it's darned inconvenient. In addition - if you've got your bag scrunched in with a lot of others, it's a pain to make room on both sides of it to get a ball out. Mine opens from the front.

I have done the 3, 4 and 6 ball bag over the past several years and I highly recommend doing a 3 ball roller and then using 2 ball totes to carry the rest of your equipment. To me the 4 and 6 ball rollers are a pain in the butt to get in and out of any vehicle..
Also, stick with a KR bag, you can't go wrong there..

Strong like bull, smart like tractor.
The 3-ball bag doesn't work for me, 'cause I'm on the short, weak and old side, and I have an old car with an old-fashioned trunk. I don't have a truck or wagon, where the tailgate folds down, and you can easily load and unload stuff. Everything has to be lifted over the bumper, and lowered into the trunk.

I hate to burst a bubble az but you can get A Storm Streamline from Ebay seller
palacage for $109 & $20 S&H anywhere in US. His auctions often go for less.
E-mail him good communication. I won a blk but wanted wine silve combo. He substituted at auction price. Ordered Sat. received Tues. Incredible bag.
When we get a good deal we should pass it on.
By the way anyone looking for a great deal on a 3-ball???????

Hmm, am i missing something? How is it easier to roll 4 balls instead of 3, which is what people are saying....
Anways, go with the Inline 4 ball roller. Not as bulky as the stacked ones, and still holds the same stuff.

I had the inline 4 bag and I hated it.. There is no storage in those bags at all. They should have put another pocket on the backside of the bag where there is nothing right now. If they re-design then with more storage, I will try another one.
For me, the 3 ball roller and a 2 ball tote work out much better.

Hmm, is that true? I only have a stacked roller, and it's really bulky. I would have thought the inlines would be much better.
But actually, i agree with JK here. I think you should just get a 3 baller and a tote.
