brunswicks factory finish high gloss polish will help keep your rampages shine but won't do anything as far as preventing oil absorbtion.

You want more than just a polish, you want a cleaner as well.  You can do it in two steps with a separate cleaner like Track's Clean and Dull (nee Clean and Tacky), which, in spite of their names, won't actually dull the ball, followed by a fresh coat of polish from time to time.  You shouldn't need to repolish the ball frequently if you use something that doesn't remove the polish when you clean it.  CnD and CnT are the best cleaners you can buy.

brunswick recommends the use of a revivor or rejuvenator machine to extract the oil from the ball. depending upon the finish on the ball and the type of ball this can be as often as 30 games or as infrequent as 150 games.
