I have the swirls although they are not the red/black ones, they are the green/orange.
I love them to death, they are very durable, yet very comfortable. They look cool, and many people have commmented on them, both open bowlers and tourny bowlers alike. They simply turn heads.
I used to have a pair of SST 7's, and still do, although I never use them. They are both comfy, while the swirls seemed more roomy/wider for the better fit. Plus the swirls looked a helluva lot better. I will definitely be getting another pair of swirls when these get too small.
Hope this helps.

i have had the classics for over year now, they still feel new, strong, durable, comfortable.  I only wear them during league, i practice in my old pair of shoes. my 2 cents.
