Anyone know when the new sst 9 dexter bowling shoes will be released. The promo came out in my January issue of the bowlers journal and it is also on Dexter's facebook page.

Right. And no picture or info.  Except 'the' stand for Something-Hyperflex-something.  And i dont feel like looking it up or car, cuz its irrelevant at the moment, but yes just a tease right now as far as I know. I got a full 4-5 years out of my 8s and I'm itching to get a new pair... So I will be trying them.  They will probably use this as an excuse for them to retail @ $199.99 too.

Always wore Dexter even when making shoes for Brunswick. After buying the new Brunswick shoes earlier this season I am not going back any time soon. Dexter needs to make some more comfortable fitting shoes. Maybe that is the mission this time.

I honestly think that the SST 5 and SST 6 were some of the better shoes that they have released. If the new shoes are of that vein I would be interested in them.

I recently bought a pair of SST 8 shoes because I got them ridiculously cheap and always worried about what I would do if my SST 5 Sport shoes wore out. I absolutely love the looks of the black/red SST 8, but my god, I have never owned any shoes so uncomfortable. I can wear my SST 5 for 10 games and never have sore feet but I can be half way through a league night and my feet are actually aching when wearing the SST 8. I had planned to use my SST 5 as back ups but now plan to use the SST 8 in that spot, unless I can find an insole that makes them more comfortable.

i think they improved the comfort in the black/gold sst8s. i had the black/white ones and apparently they came from the batch that kept separating behind the sole. anyway i had the burgundy/black sst6s before and wearing the white/black sst8s felt like walking on 2x4s. so flat and stiff. but the black/gold sst8s are much more comfortable. after a few league sessions the soles actually broke in and formed to my feet.

Received mine yesterday and love them. Only wish they came with extra slide heels and pads.
