Brunswick Swirl vs 3G Sport deluxe
« on: November 22, 2009, 01:28:13 PM »
Need opinions....looking at a new pair of shoes, but unfortunatly only have about $75 or so to spend. Options include the 3G sport deluxe, the Brunswick Swirl series or possibly the Etonic w/ the removable soles.

I cant seem to find any reviews of the Brunswick swirls?? They are on clearance over at bowling.com for $65 seems like a great price, but I would love to hear from someone who has worn them.

Thanks in advance!

I have a pair of the swirl shoes, and for me at first they were like water skies. I've had mine for about 2 -2 1/2 yrs and they still feel fine.

So that you know this even though they are brunswick shoe they truely are Dexter.  When looking for replacement slides, when you need them don't bother on getting "brunswick" replacements.  THe price for the "B" onthose is almost triple what normal replacements are.

Wish i only paid what you are looking at. I bought them when they were just out and paid close to $200.00 for mine.

Thanks for the response.
Do you know what style Dexter shoes they would be comparable to? SST5? or are they completly different?

I have the 3G deluxe shoes and love them. They are light and still in NIB condition. I wouldn't buy anything else. Plus they have the interchangle soles and heels which are great.

I have some Dynorooz Tour Ultras.  If I were looking for some budget shoes, 3G would be at the top of the list.  Actually, it would be the list.

I just picked up a pair of the 3G sport shoes and love the way they feel.  I have used brunswick and etonic with the replaceable soles and can honestly say that the sport deluxe are imho the best shoe for the dollar.
