These have been out for a few months now. For those who have them, how are you liking them so far?

The most comfortable shoe I've ever put on my feet.  Once I settled in on the heel and sole that suits me it's been great.

I don't think it was me that was upset, but these shoes are great. Very comfortable.  The only thing for me was that the TPU material on the toecap is relatively soft and wears down fast. I been using the loop side of Velcro on the tip of the cap with success, just need to change it every month.  But if you're not a toe dragger, then you will very likely love these shoes!

I've been very happy with mine so far. These are by far the most comfortable bowling shoes I've owned.

I know several people who have them and universally everyone says how great they are.
What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis?

Artimust,

Loop side of the toe cap?  Could you more clearly explain what you mean about changing...that?  Every month?

Thanks, I own the shoes, comfortable, pretty good, however I already have some Velcro that is not holding very well.

Thanks,

Luckylefty
PS was it a guy named something like NHLFan who wasn't happy with these shoes?  I don't know how many other thigns that maybe poster was real happy about?

No doubt.  I'm a big guy and these have been heaven on my feet.  Every time I put them on, I feel a "aaaaahhhhh".  They are that comfortable.  I also love the "blue" slide as I've always been a flat footed slider but the more sliding heel of past shoes were too much.

Always worn Dexter and the Dexter made Brunswick shoes. Got the TPUX on release and really really like them a lot. The most comfortable shoes I have worn so far in bowling. Very much like a nice tennis shoe/golf cleat. No issues so far. Still look and holding up great.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

LuckyLefty, what I mean is that, because I am a toe-dragger, I stick a strip of the loop side of velcro tape (hook and loop, the loop is the soft side) on the tip of the toecap to help protect the TPU material from wearing down.  I have been changing it about once a month because I can destroy those things fairly fast.

There is not another bowling shoe on the market that are like the TPU X. They are extremely comfortable. I have had Dexter's since the SST I. As soon as I put this shoe on, I was amazed immediately. Don't be afraid to get a pair. You will NOT be disappointed.

I agree with you completely. Best bowling shoe I have ever owned. Feels like i'm bowling in Nike Air Max shoes.

How's the width seem on these shoes?  I would love to get a wide, but alas I am an unfortunate lefty.

These shoes are very comfortable.  However, I occasionally drag the foot on my trailing leg, and after 12 games or so, the velcro is starting to separate.  I had the same issue on my 3Gs, but they didn't show wear on the toe near as quick.

Directdrill, try peeling off the sole and move it back about 1/4 inch.  this will help keep the front away from the floor when you drag and you won't feel the difference, but it shouldn't  separate.

But anyway, it is just velcro tape stuck on the front of the shoe on the area where I drag my toe on the approach.  It's just there to protect the cap so it doesn't wear down so fast.  I just looked at it yesterday and I need to change it because I wore right through the velcro strip.  I'll be changing it today after work...hopefully.   :)
