cutting the thumb of a golf glove

Any advise you guys have for cutting it. I've been getting a blister on the base of my index finger and my middle and ring fingers need some protection too. Decided to try a golf glove but i dont know how to go about cutting the thumb.

If you want to save some time fooling with a golf glove Ebonite has a glove that will serve your purpose.  I did try a golf glove in the past and the thumb portion of it was stitched into the other part of the glove.  To remove it I went and cut the stitching with some sort of thing my wife had for sewing (some sort of small knife)  Good luck

I don't use gloves but I know guys that have tried using them.  They seem to work fairly well but the middle and ring finger tips would always rips after a period of 2-3 weeks.  I would probably go with what the other guys have posted and try gloves designed for that kind of abuse from ebonite or another reputable company.

I think only ebonite makes the full finger gloves, and I see less places stocking them.  I haven't seen anyone use the full glove yet.  I have seen people tape their ring and middle fingers up with white tape.  It's almost like they are pro football players when they do that.
