I was wondering if those that purchased the dexter 9s were able to wear the same size as their sst8s or if they needed a different size?

Here's what Dexter told me when I asked about how my SST7's size compared to the 9's.
"Thank you for your interest in Dexter Bowling! If you wear a size 12M in the SST7's you should stick with that size for THE9's. Our shoes run true to size so whatever size you typically wear in a normal street shoe is what we recommend you purchase in our shoes. "

I'm wearing the same size in my 9s as my SST8s. The 9s feel a slight more snug, but that's all about the design differences in the shoes.
If I had to do it over again, I would have had my PSO also order a half size larger to contrast feel. I'm happy with the same size pair, but I'd recommend trying two sizes if possible.

Are they to small in length or width...if it's merely tight dude to side go with a 9.5 wide
-
If it's possible to try I would try both...9.5 wide and a 10

Not for me. I wear 7 1/2 in virtually every shoe and even wear 8s in my tennis shoes, but in my Dexter bowling shoes it is 7 2w that fits
