Need advice for bigfoot friend
« on: April 01, 2007, 10:04:19 AM »
Hey, all!

I have a friend who has just started bowling and wants to buy a pair of shoes.  Of course, he doesn't want to spend money on fancy shoes, so I told him I'd check here.  Do any of you know if there's a size 15 or 15.5 wide width UNI shoe out there, and if so, where can I find it on-line?

Thanks!

Deb

Your friend may have to get custom shoes made.

I vaguely remember a league bowler friend that had the same issue.  He had Linds custom made.

Lind's still makes large shoes.  You might check with them.  I have ordered size 20's from them before and got them within a week.

Thanks for the replies.  This fella is an absolute newbie who thinks spending more than 30-40 bucks for shoes is too much.  So, I guess he's going to have to go with the "rental" shoes he found for sale on some website that are available in his size.  At least it'll get him in his own pair.

im a size 15 myself, I never had a problem finding shoes (kinda) My proshop guy is great and he ordered sst6 lx's for me, and I got them within a week. Dont worry about only size 15, most shoe styles go to that size, any higher and your screwed, like me Im 15 yrs old, and Im still growing :S:S
