Dexter SST 6 SE Poor Quality
« on: May 27, 2008, 04:16:45 PM »
I've only had these shoes for two weeks and already on the tip of my non sliding shoe..the ruber part is beginning to tear. So much for being a expensive shoe.. Anyone else have this kind of problem?

my brother use to tear his all up, but it was because during his approach he would sort of "twist" his right foot on his 2nd step (using 5 step delivery) not sure if you do the same but my guess would be you're doing something similar.  I've had my SST 5's for over 3 years and the tip is sort of wearing off some, but no tears and they have plenty of life left.

it's all in your follow through, my pair of sst 5's are still looking great, and I've had them since they came out 2003?

I have the LX but similar story.

My right shoe also tore underneath my big toe but i had my shoes for a couple years before any problems. As a matter of fact, I just took the shoe to a shoe repair shop in Indiana and they told me they would be able to fix it with no problem. Cant wait to get it back tomorrow! Best shoes I ever had.
