Six ball roller question
« on: April 04, 2008, 05:01:20 AM »
I'm interested in getting a KR 6 ball roller but would like to know how it breaks down for transport. Do the top 2 bags come off so I'm not trying to lift 4 balls over the trunk lip? Does the handle collapse into itself? Any other useful info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Top and middle section remove but I found it easier to lift bottom with 4 balls than to remove the middle section. Middle section will catch on both upper and lower platform as it nest's into the middle platform. May be easier to slide it out a side? Have no issues with lifting the 4 ball into the back of a pickup but the car trunks will require you to place this puppy in first since the handle only comes down to about the top of the top bag and no further.

Thanks for the info Don. I'm going to have to think twice about getting this monster of a bag. Right now I use an inline 3 ball roller and a Vise 2 ball bag. Works pretty well and a narrow profile walking thru crowds. Maybe I'll get one of those ball joey's and add it to the roller to give me 6 total.

I've got a Storm Streamline 4 ball roller. It breaks down all the way with the handle, and I just put my 2 ball tote on top when I roll it. Works great.

I have a Storm Pro 6 ball roller that easily breaks down (2-2-2).  It is
very easy to transport and handle at the alleys.  Most of the time I only
take 5 balls with me and it is not very heavy--but for some reason 6 is
a chore.

Why would anyone want a six ball roller? They are too bulky.  Get one 3 ball roller that will fit your shoes and what now, then Vise and Storm and Hammer have these cool little 3 ball rollers that you can even take on the plane and with 3 15lb balls it checks in at 48 lbs.

Im so glad people are brainwashed to thinking that if they buy a new ball they will carry everything. And its even funnier when im carrying with my 15 year old ball and they're going flat ten.
