3G tour ultra's
« on: August 05, 2009, 02:25:09 PM »
i took my brand new 3G tour ultra's out of the box today and used them for the first time. it made me realize why i bought them in the first place: quality. these shiny black beauties are classy and dressy looking with top-notch quality construction. i've got all the heels and soles that are available( just in case )and am looking forward to a season of hassle free bowling thanks to 3G. i also would like to thank phil and eric at 900 global for offering a superior product.

I love my 'Rooz.  By the time they're worn out, we'll probably be wearing 30G shoes, not 3G.

My only problem with 3G shoes are the colors that are available.  I own the black tour ultra and would of loved to have pickup a solid or almost solid white pair of shoes.  Because they don't produce white shoes, I purchased a pair of Dexter SST8's in white.  Both are great in my eyes......

i used my new tour ultras for the first time today and was really thankful for 6 different soles and 6 different heels as the approached were very tacky on a hot missouri saturday. quality construction, lightweight but strong, superior kangaroo leather, and multiple sole/heel adjustments. what more could you want ? thanls 900 global !

I used to advise people to do that, Greg, because they used to do custom large sizes.  Phil said that they quit doing that.

yes for sure.. and the 13's seem like they used the leather from the 12 and just stretched it out more to fit the 13 base... the toe box is really slanted and cramp...
I went with the sport ultra burgandy and grey cause they seemed to have more room in the toe even though all the shoes are made on the same frames..I also took them to a cobbler and had the shoes stretched..

I have a pair of Rooz love very much. Bowl a tournament this past week-end. First time I every bowl on appoaches that were like walking in tar or super glue. Change sole & cleats try a bowling sock nothing work.I Need to have some slide on the kind of my knee. What do anyone here on BR do? Maybe a 3 step appoach would work never try a 3 step befor.
Thanks.

The teflon pucks did not work?  I tried the ones that came with my Ultra's but thought they were too thin so I made my own.  Much more durable.

Three step approach is very difficult (so I've been told) timing-wise.

If you can find the adjust-a-heel that Dynorooz had made it might solve your sticking
