Does anyone know what the difference is between the LE and LX models of the SST6? Also is there a difference in price? Just wondering, thanks!

didn't the LX get discontinued?
Yes, and I believe it's the most sought after version since it used a softer (but not less durable) leather than the full grained leather being used on the LE and SE models.
I have a pair, and they were more comfortable than most of my street shoes from day one.
I really hope Dexter went to a higher quality leather in the SST8's, otherwise finding another pair of SST6 LX will be awfully tough.

I have a pair of the SST LXs and they are the most comfortable bowling shoe I have. I am really sorry that Dexter stopped making this shoe. The leather is soft, supple & durable (kangaroo Ieather I believe). I'm taking extra special care of these shoes. I got them in a wide width and they fit my feet perfectly. I'm kicking myself for not getting another pair.
