identify this bag
« on: March 04, 2005, 08:45:21 AM »
I don't have a photo, but last summer I bowled in a league with somebody that had the coolest looking ball carrier system.  It looked like rubbermaid or tupperware.  It was a 6 ball carrier, but it consisted of 3 sets of 2 ball carriers.  Basically each carrier could hold 2 balls and they could be stacked.  The 2 ball carriers looked like they were molded to hold the balls.

Anybody out there know what I'm talking about and where to find this system?

Can you recommend something else?  I like it because the cases are separate and can be stacked.  It seems like it would be easy to load in and out of the trunk, and sometimes I don't really want to take all my balls.  If I wanted to take 4 (or 6) I could just stack them, instead of dragging in two carriers.  Plus, the plastic case seems like it would stack better than a fabric bag in case I wanted to use them to store balls in the garage.  The website has the cases on sale for $10 - that seems a little more secure, storage-wise than leaving the balls in the box and putting them on the shelf.

I have the Mule and its a piece of sh-t. I thought it would be great to carry 6 balls to the mini in Vegas. The first time I went down stairs one of the cases broke. I have dropped the thing just going over small cracks in the sidewalk.

I too am going to buy a new 4 baller to replace this junk. Also you will get all kinds of people asking how many balls do you carry in that. It looks like you can carry 9, but anyone that knows bowling, knows you can only get 2 balls in one case.

There is something like that on ebay..I think it was called a "Macho Mule" it's under "Other" if you want to look. Ends Apr 3... Strange, but interesting setup.

my 2 cents are up
