Title: Dynarooz Which one?
Post by: JohnnyRocket on September 27, 2007, 06:50:17 PM: Okay I currently have dexter sst-6 looking for a new shoe looking at the Dynarooz Sport Elite Cabretta or the Dynorooz Men's Tour Ultra which way should I go?

Post by: DON DRAPER on September 28, 2007, 09:09:09 AM: johnnyrocket, the dynorooz brand name is being discontinued.....the new brand name for these shoes is 3G. they are sold by the new 900 Global. however, the shoes are still the same. they just have different logos on them. as much as i like my sport elite cabretta's the tour ultra's are the way to go if you're looking for the top of the line in shoes. i've ordered a pair and can't wait to get them.

Post by: shelley on September 28, 2007, 09:18:03 AM: I have the Tour Ultras, the black and silver ones, and they're awesome shoes. I like the shoe keeper that the TUs come with, I don't believe the Sports come with as many accessories.

I also would say the Tour Ultra's. I moved to them after consistently wearing out the Dexters after a season and 1/2. They are durable, comfortable, and really nice shoes.

Post by: DON DRAPER on September 29, 2007, 10:02:04 PM: i wore my 3G tour ultra's today for the first time. i can't get used to how light these shoes are.....and yet there build quality and overall construction seem very solid and firm. they felt broken-in right from the get go. i used my usual set-up of the deerskin leather sole and the flat hard rubber heel. perfect slide ! what a pair of shoes.....they look great, they slide great, and they're lightweight and comfortable.....what more could you ask for in a bowling shoe. thanks to phil, eric, and everybody at 900 Global.

Post by: fabes on September 30, 2007, 01:24:46 PM: Confirming what most everybody else has said. Tour Ultra all the way. Comfortable and so functional from the first time you wear them. Never had a bowling shoe that did not take some kind of a break-in period until I got them.

Upon further review it appears that I only have the Sport Deluxe shoes (s950, black). Sorry for the confusion - got my pictures mixed up

Still the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn!

I have the maroon/black ones. They are the most comfortable shoes (bowling or not) that I've ever owned.

They feel very comfy and slide a whole lot more than rentals.

I'm still adjusting to the new shoe feel, but I find my left shoe is a bit taller than my right(im right handed). Is this normal?

I'm using the grooved sole+deerskin sole.

Post by: DON DRAPER on November 17, 2007, 08:57:01 PM: the 3G tour ultra is the best bowling shoe money can buy. it's got five slide soles plus the cleated sole. it's got 5 heels plus the adjust-a-heel. it has a carry bag, shoe cover, shoe form, sole and heel pick. they have rock solid construction with the sole being glued and stitched to the upper. plenty of padding and cushioning. and to top it off the kangaroo skin leather uppers are softer yet at least twice as strong as the cowhide uppers the competition uses. what else could you want ?

I don't have a problem with ventilation for the shoes, but I definitely wish the carrying bag had some ventilation. The first month or so that I had my TUs they started to smell like, well, shoes. I don't think that shoes I wear for three to four hours at a time once a week (at the time) should smell bad after a month. I started carrying a little bottle of baby powder and sprinkle a little of it in each after I'm done. I also have to let them air out for a few minutes before I toss 'em in my bag.
