finger tape/saver question

Was wonder what the bowlers on tv are using on their fingers. What brand or kind it is and the difference. Also do they use finger grips? or personal preference.

 

I don't really like using stuff on my finger, but I would like to protect my finger as they are getting bad. I started using thumb tape and my thumb looks much better. Prob gonna try the bowling sock soon. Just wanted to know about the finger stuff as I'm seeing it more and more.

Just check the patches on their shirt. If it says Vise, then they are probably using Vise tape. If it says Turbo then they are using that brand.

So the tape they use on the fingers is the same as the thumb tape?

 

So, it is better with grip or non finger grip bowlers. Or it's personal preference too?

Do you mean thumb fitting tape like you use inside the hole? If that is what you are asking, then I doubt they use the same tape for both.

 

For example, Wes Malott uses the Vise Yellow NT50Y tape on his fingers, but I don't think that is what he is using in the thumbhole. I'm sure that is the Vise white or black fitting tape.

I mean the one the you actually put on your thumb. I already have the turbo beige tape, if it's the same thing as the vise finger tape. I will try the turbo on my fingers.
